About Me

I am a native of the Finger Lakes area. I graduated from Canandaigua Academy. I then attended SUNY at Morrisville and earned an AAS in Saddlehorse Management and Production. I went to work at a local manufacturing company and began attending St. John Fisher College simultaneously. Several years later, I earned my BS in Management and Psychology. Through a series of life experiences, I was led to continue my education at Syracuse University where I obtained a Master’s in Social Work.Prior to becoming a mental health therapist, I worked with horses and spent time working in a factory for 9 years, and started a family that I am devoted to. These “real life” experiences give me the unique ability to relate to my clients in a genuine, effective way.I have been a mental health therapist for nearly 30 years. In my practice, I incorporate a unique blend of various treatment modalities including EMDR therapy, IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT and Somatic Experiencing™ techniques to help people stabilize and get to the root of emotional distress. My style is collaborative, as I believe each person has the power within themselves to heal. They may just need some new skills or someone to facilitate the process.

My rate is $150 for a one hour session. Payment is expected at the time of service. Some insurance plans cover a portion of the fee for out of network providers. This is the responsibility of the client to submit any documentation to their insurance for reimbursement.
Upon request, I provide superbills which include all of the necessary information for clients to submit. HSA cards can be used for mental health therapy as well.

I also offer consultation services for people who are looking for information on a specific topic, such as dissociation or my experience treating people with DID.
My rate for a consultation session is $100. These are typically virtual meetings. Payment for consultations are sent via mobile app. More information will be sent upon initial contact.
